Assists in directing the strategic planning, development, and implementation of programs and initiatives in both the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Computer Science. Evaluates established processes and conducts trainings to maximize efficiency. Participates in planning, administering and monitoring program related to operational budgets. Ensures required records and documentation are maintained. Assimilates financial and statistical data for operational and faculty financial monthly reports. Monitors, audits and reconciles operational, non-sponsored and sponsored accounts. Reviews and approves EPEX proposal submissions on behalf of the departments. Prepares and approves journal entries, travel reimbursements and payment requests for faculty and visitors. Submits requests for RSTs, XDP, earning distribution changes, course buy-outs, academic year salary, summer salary for department faculty. Creates invoices, departmental deposits, check requests and purchasing.
