Biography

I've been an Instructional Designer for Charter Oak, Connecticut's online public state college, since 2017.  I work with faculty across disciplines to develop new courses that are student-centered and accessible; addressing UDL principles and meeting quality standards for online learning environments. I am a certified Quality Matters Peer Reviewer. My role includes supporting faculty with training in best practices for online teaching.  I have a doctorate in Educational Technology and professional interests in game-enhanced learning in virtual worlds, XR, and generative AI tools. An advocate for the Open Movement, I have served on the CT State Higher Education Open Educational Resources Committee since 2019 and am Creative Commons certified.
