Biography
Kristin Lofblad Sullivan is Harvard Kennedy School's Senior Director of Educational Technology and the Public Leadership Credential (PLC), HKS's flagship online credential program. Previous to this role, Kristin led Harvard’s Teaching and Learning Technologies (TLT) program. Through this University-wide strategic initiative, TLT led the roll-out of Canvas learning management system across the Harvard schools, developed LTI tools in support of pedagogical innovation, developed the process to extract data from Canvas for educational research, and cultivated University-wide communities of practice. Prior to her role in TLT, Kristin served for eight years as Head of Academic Technology at Harvard Graduate School of Education. Previous to Harvard, she was Assistant Director of the Curriculum Innovation and Technology Group at Babson College, and designed and developed online college courses for KaplanCollege.com. She has taught at the middle school, high school, and college levels. Kristin holds a BA from Connecticut College, an MFA in creative writing from Emerson College, and an EdM from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Kristin's functional background is in teaching and learning, and her professional focus is educational technology strategy and leadership. Outside of work, she enjoys running, reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends in Cambridge and cape cod.
