Biography
Kristine Sunda has recently joined the University of Wisconsin-Madison and UW System Office of Administration as Information Technology Strategy Lead for the Administrative Transformation Program. Prior to the University of Wisconsin, she served as Associate Vice Chancellor, Academic Affairs Technology and Innovation at UNC Greensboro. In her role at UNCG, Sunda served as technology adviser to the Provost for Academic Affairs technology, including Administration, Student Experience, Student Success, Research, Instructional Technology, and data governance.
Sunda has also implemented agile practices and held IT leadership positions at the University of South Carolina, Wake Forest University and at the University of South Florida. She has 25 years of leadership experience in higher education information technology, portfolio and project management, process improvement and technical architecture.
Sunda has earned a BS in Computer Science from Penn State University and is a certified PMP, PMI-ACP, and is ITIL v.3 Foundations. She has earned an MS degree in Information Technology Management with certificates in Business Analytics and Cyber Security from UNC Greensboro in May 2020. Sunda is an enthusiastic writer and speaker on a wide variety of topics related to technology in higher education and is passionate about agile teams and collaboration.
