Biography

Kyle Shaver is a passionate developer born and raised in the Los Angeles, California area. Much of his early development experience includes Android, web, and iOS development for both California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and for the City of Los Angeles. After graduating in 2015, Kyle began working with CSUN Information Technology, where he currently serves as Assistant Director, Web & Emerging Technology. In this role, he manages development and maintenance of the campus Portal, mobile app, and web site, as well as overseeing various forward-thinking, innovative projects. Kyle helped oversee the design, development, and implementation of CSUN’s Ask Matty campus-wide chatbot and continues to strive to find new and innovative ways to improve the technology offerings to the CSUN community. In 2019, Kyle began serving on the EDUCAUSE Young Professionals Advisory Committee.
