Biography

Dawn Childs is an IT Project Manager at Western Washington University with 25 years of experience in technology. She manages projects focused on educational technology and administrative systems, working with teams across campus to implement solutions that support the university's mission.

Throughout her career, Dawn has worked on a range of initiatives aimed at improving business processes and supporting digital transformation in higher education. She approaches projects with an emphasis on collaboration and problem-solving, working to deliver results that meet both technical requirements and user needs.

Dawn participates in the Educause community through various forums and working groups. At this year's conference, she will share her perspective on project management practices, emerging technologies, and IT's evolving role in higher education.
