Laura Baker
Biography
Ms. Laura Baker is a radiologic science assistant professor and program chair with over 20 years of experience in clinical and academic settings. She began her career as an interventional radiologic technologist before transitioning into education, where she has served as a clinical instructor, classroom instructor, clinical coordinator, and program director. At Baptist Health Sciences University, she contributes to program leadership, course development, and student engagement initiatives. Her professional involvement includes service as a site visitor, committee member, and item writer for national accreditation and certification organizations. Laura is also active in curriculum development, aligning instructional materials to educational standards and contributing to the advancement of radiologic science education through textbook and course authorship.
