Biography

Laura E. Robinson is the Director of Technology Services for the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University (CU) in Ithaca, New York. Laura is responsible for the vision, direction, planning, development, deployment and implementation of strategic information technology infrastructure and solutions that enable faculty, staff and students to be effective in the performance of their daily activities. Laura has 26 years of management experience in the Information Technology arena. While working at Bank One Corporation in Dallas, Texas for 12 years, Laura held the positions of: Helpdesk Manager, Desktop Services Manager, Project Management Manager, Business Administration Manager and Business Process Re-engineering Lead. Laura also Managed the Information Technology Group at ITT Industries - Goulds Pumps in Seneca Falls, NY for 4 years. Laura completed the Management Leadership program at Rice University in Houston Texas and received her VBS

Laura also owns and operates a 203 year old Bed and Breakfast named Sugar Ridge Inn.  The Inn is located in the middle of the Fingerlakes Wine Trail on Cayuga Lake.  sugarridgeinn.com
