Biography

Dr. Laura J. McCormick holds a Ph.D. in General Psychology. She has been teaching undergraduate social sciences courses in the Center for General Education at Walden University since 2010. In 2019, Dr. McCormick received the Faculty Excellence Award. Recipients of this award exemplify Walden University’s core values of quality, integrity, and student-centeredness. Dr. McCormick is passionate about student success and providing students with positive learning experiences that enrich their educational journeys.
