Biography

Laurie McGowan worked in a variety of positions at Hesburgh Libraries, University of Notre Dame until her retirement in June 2019. Her last position there was Digital Project Manager in the IT Program.

Laurie spent 20+ years in B2B marketing and sales before joining the University.

Laurie has a BA in Germanic Languages & Literature from Indiana University, Bloomington and MSEd in Instructional Systems Technology from IUB. Laurie is particularly interested in issues of change management,learning analytics, educational equity, and learner motivation in the online environment.
