Biography
Lavon Frazier has been involved in the planning, design, and implementation of many administrative computing systems for higher education. Her work has been on the leading edge of technology, from the first online real-time systems at the University of Wisconsin - Madison to early adoption of self-service World Wide Web transactions at Washington State University. She spent a year of professional leave working at Penn State University, and has consulted with Cornell and Stanford Universities to facilitate business modeling sessions and teach business modeling techniques to their staffs. Lavon has been heavily involved with technology planning and Web applications, including the myWSU portal and single-signon solutions. She has given many presentations at national and regional conferences on a variety of administrative systems and related topics. Lavon holds a degree in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. She is co-owner of LL Consulting where she specializes in helping educational institutions with CRM, LMS, and ERP planning and software selection.EDUCAUSE Publications
