Biography
Larry Levine was appointed Associate Vice Chancellor for IT and CIO of the University of Colorado Boulder in October 2009. Larry was previously the Chief Information Officer and Associate Dean for IT of the Harvard University Faculty of Arts and Sciences from 2005 to 2009. Before Harvard Larry was the Chief Information Officer and Associate Provost for Information Technology at Dartmouth College, where he led the Computing Services organization since 1991. From 1984-1990 Levine served at Dartmouth as Director of Social Science Computing from '84 to '87, and then as Director of Academic Computing from '88 to '90. Earlier, he was a programmer, research consultant, and manager at Indiana University's computing services (1979-1984). He holds a Ph.D. from Indiana University, Bloomington, where his major focus was on research methodology and statistics, and a B.S. from S.U.N.Y. Stony Brook.EDUCAUSE Publications
