Larry Frederick

Biography

Larry Frederick has served as Associate Provost for Information Technology and CIO since August, 2001. In this role he provides. Senior leadership for the strategic use of information technology resources in support of the mission and goals of the university. He works closely with the Provost, Deans, Vice Presidents, as well as key university committees, in formulating options, facilitating decision-making processes, determining projects, create policy, and managing and setting priorities for the Office of Information Technology. During his lengthy career in higher education, Larry has served in many roles. His work in IT organizations included positions at Emory University and Vanderbilt University. He is currently a member of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Substantive Change Committee. Larry received his B.S. and M.S. in Physics from Florida Atlantic University.
