Leslie Kennedy
Biography
Leslie Kennedy, Ed.D., serves as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Technology Services within the Division of Academic and Student Affairs at the California State University, Office of the Chancellor. In this capacity, Dr. Kennedy provides strategic leadership, management, and oversight of Academic Technology Services (ATS), supporting the integration of information technology into teaching and learning, research, scholarship, creative activities, and a wide range of academic and student support services across the CSU system.
Dr. Kennedy oversees the implementation of academic technology initiatives and manages the operations of ATS, including budget administration and personnel. She serves as a key advisor to the Chancellor’s Office leadership on academic technology strategy and services, including library services, online education, academic software support, learning management systems, and low-cost or no-cost course materials initiatives. In addition, Dr. Kennedy coordinates multiple activities for the systemwide Generative AI (GenAI) initiative.
