Leslie Hitch

Biography

Leslie Hitch is Senior Faculty Fellow in the School of Education, College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University. She previously was the Director of Academic Technology Services at Northeastern. Her faculty responsibilities include teaching both online and in the traditional classroom in both the Masters and Doctorate of Education programs. Her expertise is in the confluence of technology, education and globalization. In addition to teaching she is the faculty liaison to the education masters program developing curriculum and courses in the higher education and adult learning specializations. She has also been Visiting Faculty at Swinburne University in Melbourne Australia and she consults on faculty development and preparation for teaching online. Prior to joining Northeastern, she was the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Program Services at Harcourt Higher Education, an Online College. She has extensive industry-client consulting experience in Executive Education at Babson College, directed a masters program at Simmons College, has conducted strategic planning with several colleges and has served as a consultant to IBM's Global Education business unit. She holds a B.A. and MBA from Simmons College and earned her Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from U-Mass, Boston.
