Liam Doherty
Biography
Liam Doherty is an IT Manager of TechZone and Student Technologies at Illinois State University. He is the founding manager of TechZone Service, a walk-up help desk created to assist students with technology problems, and holds multiple vendor service certifications. He has ITIL Foundation and Service Managerment training and is on the leadership team for the University’s ITSM implementation. He has presented topics on creating and maintaining a Service Center with participation at ResNet, SIGUCCS, and EDUCAUSE conferences. He was named recipient of the national ResNet Senti-Merriman Award in 2006 and the Illinois State Outstanding Technology Service Award in 2014.
