Linda McKenna

Biography

Linda is the Director of L&D for the College of Technologists at Comcast University. She manages Comcast Labs Connect, a program that connects the technical community on emerging topics, such as artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Her background in engineering, IT, training, operations, and consulting has provided opportunities to solve business problems through systems and processes.  Successful initiatives include transitioning IT teams to leading technology processes, deploying communication networks, and implementing transaction processing and network monitoring software and process.

Linda is a life-long-learner and finds opportunities daily for learning and teaching moments about diversity and inclusion. She holds a BS in finance and administration, and an MA in English. She has completed the coursework toward an EdD in innovation and leadership and is currently working on her dissertation on the underrepresentation of women in technical leadership. She is a member of Women in Cable and Telecommunication (WICT), the Cloud Security Alliance Delaware Valley Chapter (CSA-DV), Philadelphia Women & Cybersecurity, and the Kappa Gamma Pi National Honor Society.

When not working or studying, she enjoys hiking, theater, film, and football.
