Biography

Linh Nguyen is a results-oriented IT Manager at University of California, Irvine. His 30 years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Content Management has included directing information technology efforts, managing complex IT projects, and providing critical business strategy support. Under his leadership, the Web-based Mass Electronic Messaging System was created, winning his technical team the 1999 EDUCAUSE Award for Best Practices in Higher Education Information Resources. In 2003, he led the development of an innovative imaging system as part of UC Irvine’s PayQuest system which won the 2004 EDUCAUSE Award for Best Practices in Higher Education. Recently, he co-led a professional team in the development of the Rapid Return project which received the 2007 Larry L. Sautter Silver Award from the systemwide University of California Information Technology Leadership Council. He received his B.S. degree in Mathematics from UC Irvine , M.A. degree in Computer Information Management from Webster University, and Doctoral Degree in Organizational Change and Leadership from University of Southern California.
