Biography

I have been working with Campus Solutions Student Administration since 1999. I am currently the Associate Registrar for Faculty & Staff Services. I oversee the areas of Curriculum, Degree Audit, Placement Exams, Teaching Evaluations, Setup, and Tuition & Fees. I started my career as a consultant for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and worked on implementations of the Campus Solutions product at two large, complex universities. I came to the University of Michigan in 2002 as a business systems analyst and was involved with numerous projects, including the implementation of prerequsite checking, photo class rosters, online grade changes, textbook ordering, electronic transcripts, a bolt on for checking course limit and sequence violations, LMS integrations, travel registration, and a conversion to online teaching evaluations. I've been through upgrades from 7.5 to 7.6, 7.6 to 8.0, and 8.0 to 9.0. I have also been very involved in the HEUG as a member of the Student Records PAG from 2008-2011, attended nine Alliance conferences, and given seven presentations at the conference. I've presented at Educause and been involved with the Sakai Foundation and IMS Global to promote the use of standards between SIS, LMS, and other learning tools. I live in Ann Arbor, MI with my husband and six-year-old son.
