Lisa Snyder

Biography

Lisa Snyder, Ed.D serves as the Coordinator of Educational Planning, Curriculum Design and Assessment for Center for Distance Learning and the School for Graduate Studies. She also holds concurrent rank as a Visiting Assistant Professor. Lisa has expanded on her work with teacher professional development and literacy studies to examine how new technologies and new literacies can be used to enhance teaching and learning. Her areas of expertise includes curriculum and learning design for traditional, online and hybrid environments, innovative uses of educational technologies in teaching and learning, and program development and evaluation methods. Dr. Snyder has published and presented on assessment and evaluation in online learning environments and continues her research in the areas of effective assessment and pedagogical practices for asynchronous and blended learning environments, online teacher education, and program design and evaluation.
