Lisa Spiro
Biography
Lisa Spiro directs Rice University's Educational Technology Research and Assessment Cooperative (ETRAC), which studies the impact of technology on higher education. For its kickoff project, ETRAC recently launched LESTER (Learning Science and Technology Repository), an online portal that tracks innovations and innovators in educational technology and learning science. Lisa also manages Fondren Library's Electronic Resources Center, where she oversees the development of digital projects and assists users in working with multimedia. Lisa recieved a doctorate in English from the University of Virginia. Her research interests include learner-centered design and practices, multimedia, mark-up languages, and interface design.EDUCAUSE Publications
