Biography
Lisa Veloz has over 25 years of experience as a higher education technology leader and over 10 years working in project and portfolio management. She is currently serving as the Executive Director of Business & Projects services for the Library & Information Technology division of Bucknell University.
Lisa's higher education includes experience in user support focusing on education and communication, merged IT and libraries, enterprise application development and support, vendor management, and project and portfolio management. She is passionate about the importance of fostering relationships and strong partnerships across campus as well as streamlining business processes. She has delivered presentations at many professional conferences including - EDUCAUSE, SIGUCCS, Ellucian SUMMIT, PA Banner Users Group, and the CLAC Annual Conference.
Lisa has a bachelor's degree in Management from Chatham University. She also has earned Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, a Change Management Leadership from e-Cornell. She is an EDUCAUSE Management Institue alum as well as a Bucknell University Walter C. Geiger Award winner (2012). She is currently serving as the co-chair of the EDUCAUSE Project Management Community Group.
