Biography

Loren Vandenplas is a meeting planner for conferences and events. Most recently she was the online meeting planner for teaching, learning, and professional development. In that role, she was responsible for the coordination and implementation of all virtual conferences and events. Her interests center around creative event planning and the effective integration of information technologies to support hybrid conferences, online courses, and webinars. Prior to joining EDUCAUSE in February 2012, Loren served as seminar coordinator and assistant event director at Team Player Productions, Inc. She graduated from Colorado State University in May 2011 with a Master of Management Practice and in May 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Technical Communications.
