Lori is the Executive Director of Enterprise Systems in University Technology Services at Oakland University in Rochester, MI. She and her team are responsible for all central enterprise systems including maintenance, support and analysis of Ellucian Banner application, Apereo uPortal & uMobile, Shibboleth & CAS, mobile initiatives, online form system and integration to/from third party systems. Lori has been at OU for since 1990. She is a board member and committee member for Education of SIM (Sociiety for Information Management Detroit Chapter and member on various committees at Oakland.
This paper focuses on mobile apps directly related to the educational institution and downloaded through an app marketplace for the purpose of providing a service to the institution.
