I have been teaching English at Miami Dade College for over 30 years. Twenty-five of those years, I have been working with academic technology. I have published several books on multimedia and teaching and learning and conducted studies on the academic advantages of iPads and mobile learning. Presently I have made all my English courses paperless and mobile employing iPad, iphone or ipod touches as the only required textbook. This is an effort to not only go mobile, but also to be green.
I am a voracious reader. I love SciFi and fantasy. My favorite literary period is the Victorian. My favorite writers are Sam Clemens and Conan Doyle. I play the guitar, keyboard and ukulele. I love the Beatles. I have been writing stories since I was 5 or 6 give and take a few, mostly tales with a SciFi or fantasy element.
