Lucian Lupu-Dima
Biography
I graduated from the University of Petrosani, where I also obtained the PhD title in electrical engineering. I believe it is important for us to understand what we know and what we do not, that being a guiding principle for me. I consider that tolerance and equilibrium lead to progress and that is why I try to be a factor of development and of evolution for society. After graduation, in 1996, I worked in a coal preparation factory. After 3 years I was employed at a software development company, where, after 4 years, in 2000, I became manager. In the meantime, I started the doctoral studies and I finished them in 2004. The management activity allowed me to identify diverse opportunities. In 2004 I opened a consulting company, in the field of quality, environmental, occupational health and safety, information management and IT. In my desire to support the youngsters in their learning process, I accepted students in internships at my company, and later I became University associated teacher. In 2012 I became a lecturer at the University of Petrosani. I wrote 8 books, 21 ISI articles, 21 BDI articles, 13 articles in national publications and I have accumulated 114 citations in national and international papers.
