Lydia Dawoud

Biography

I am a Senior Business Intelligence Developer at Chapman University, passionate about data and working with data; during my work experience in software development, I've helped businesses to have a clear view of their data and make smart decisions. I've done a lot of different projects that involve cleaning, integrating, and analyzing data and designing meaningful reports and dashboards that can tell the data story at a glance.

My educational background is in Computer Science and Graphic Design. I hold a bachelor’s degree in computer and information systems and I’ve got a graphic design certificate from Orange Coast College. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.

In another area, I've studied psychology classes while volunteering to serve in a counseling center in Egypt. Currently, I serve in the Boy Scouts of America as a Den Leader, helping the kids to grow according to the values of the Scouts.

With my diverse skill set, I bring a unique perspective to every project; I am committed to making a meaningful impact on the dynamic scene of data-driven decision-making.
