Biography

Lynn Walker is a Senior IT Auditor with 25 years of information technology experience at the University of Virginia.  She is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Project Management Lean Process Certified (PMLPC), COSO certified, Web Designer Certified, and a Certified Technical Instructor.  She has an M.S. in Management of Information Technology from UVA (’06), a B.S. in STEM Occupational & Technical Studies from ODU (’05), and an A.A.S. in Information Technology from PVCC (’97).  She joined the Audit team in June 2018.  Lynn speaks frequently at conferences including the 2019 UVA Shield Conference, 2018 Ivy+ Directs Conference, UVA Local Support Partner Conferences (2019, 2014, 2013, 2006, 2004, 2003), UVA Office Technology Conferences (2013, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001, 2000), UVA Faculty Technology Conferences (2003, 2001), and Perceptive Software Inspire Conferences (2010, 2009, 2008).

Lynn is a world traveler with visits to 22 countries and 46 states in the United States.  She enjoys meeting new people and believes discovering new cultures will greatly enrich your life.
