Maggie Epstein

Biography

Maggie is a Research & Instruction Librarian at St. Olaf College. She earned a Master of Library and Information Science from San Jose State University and a Master of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her Bachelor of Arts degree is from Carleton College, where she majored in American Studies with a concentration in Educational Studies. Her research interests include library instruction pedagogy, first-year student research habits, learning analytics, and embedded librarianship. She is the recipient of a 2018 ACRL Academic Library Impact Research Grant and co-author of How to Be a Peer Research Consultant: A Guide for Librarians and Students (ACRL Press, 2022).
