Biography
Maha Bali is an Associate Professor of Practice at the Center for Learning and Teaching at the American University in Cairo. She has a PhD in Education and MEd in eLearning from the University of Sheffield in the UK. She has been a faculty developer since 2003 and a teacher educator since 2008. Her research interests include higher education, critical thinking, educational technology, eLearning (especially MOOCs), intercultural learning, and citizenship. She is currently a steering committee member of the Online Learning Consortium's upcoming #et4online conference. She is co-founder and co-facilitator of edcontexts.org.
