Maher Yousef Arafat is the Lead IT Initiatives in improving the teaching and learning process as MIS Dept. instructor at An-Najah National University, Nablus, Palestine, where he contributes and plays a significant role in strategic planning and policy development towards technology transformation and CHANGE as his keen interest; he is also devoted to rebuilding our information technology capabilities infrastructure, dedicated to crafting our new campus network, initiator of the joint Palestinian-European interuniversity network in open and distance learning, Tempus RUFO Project (e-Learning). Recent projects include the Spring 2005 Internal Training Program ( Employees Empowerment in IT ); the university 2005 information technology strategic plan (Computerization Committee); representing NNU as consortium member in Open and Distance Learning. Maher is working on his master degree in curr. Devel. and Teaching Methods, also had his MBA Masters degree from An-Najah National University, where he also earned B.Sc. degree in Computer Information Systems, CIS from the Shaw University North Carolina.
