Biography

I am a Graduate Professor, doctoral dissertation chair, and higher education leader with expertise in artificial intelligence in education, online learning, faculty development, instructional design, and student success. I teach graduate and doctoral courses in educational leadership, research methodology, and distance education while mentoring doctoral candidates from proposal through dissertation defense.

My current work focuses on helping faculty and institutions integrate AI responsibly into teaching, learning, assessment, and research. I lead faculty development initiatives, design AI-informed educational frameworks, and develop professional learning experiences that prepare educators to use emerging technologies ethically and effectively.

My professional interests include generative AI, faculty development, educational innovation, instructional design, online learning, learning analytics, student persistence, higher education leadership, academic integrity, and the future of work in higher education. I enjoy collaborating with colleagues across institutions to share best practices and explore practical strategies for improving teaching, learning, and institutional effectiveness through responsible AI adoption.
