Biography

Since 2021 I've been in charge of the SUAyED FCPyS' Educational Innovation Coordination (Open University and Distance Education System, of the Political and Social Sciences Collage, for its acronym in Spanish).

I research, supervise and coordinate various educational projects focused on Tutoring and Evaluation of teaching and its main practices.

Another of my main functions is to edit, review and assembly subjects and digital contents on LMS platforms such as Moodle, among others.
I coordinate the main instructional design team for such purposes, including an instructional designer, graphic designer, programmer and several support members of the team. All this through organized work with other areas of SUAyED and extrernal Coordinations within the Faculty and UNAM in general, including administrative paperwork for its follow-up and promptly implementation, as well as monthly reports, workflows and inter-area linkage.

In these years, my team and I have managed to update and redesign over 100 subjects in Moodle for the distance education students. This includes adding interactive content, new and diverse didactic excercises and evaluation forms, as well as explore new ways of approaching theoretical aspects without neglecting the practical aspect of it; and from a current analysis of how the issues relate to global problems.

We're also one of the faculties with the most up-to-date Moodle system, optimizing not only security systems for the protection of personal data and improving cybersecurity, but we are also about to implement AI tools for teachers. This has led us not only to the creation of technical tutorials for its use, but also teacher refresher courses with didactic and pedagogical approaches in this regard.

I'm also responsible for the management and design of the content strategy for the Division's socio-digital networks (creation, design, publication and management of content grids), as well as the Manual for the daily-use of institutional networks for CMs of the division.
In control of the design, management and logistics of academic events, as well as their streaming transmission.
