Margita Blattner currently serves as Senior Director, Business Development. In this role, she focuses on understanding and delivering on the diverse needs of EDUCAUSE'S industry and higher education institutional members. She is focused on developing long-term strategies and valued programs and services to drive engagement within our communities, identifying solutions to unmet needs, and attracting and engaging diversified members. Margita joined EDUCAUSE in 2013 as Director of Service Development where she focused on advancing EDUCAUSE's internal business systems and processes along with developing new business products and services. Margita's professional background and experience spans roles in Higher Education consulting, e-commerce and mobile product management, Higher Education business management, technology program management, and business development. She has worked for Best Buy, Inc., Capella University, Excite@Home and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Margita has an MBA from Capella University and Bachelor's of Arts from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She lives in Orange County, California with her husband.
