Marilyn Bodnar

Biography

Prof. Marilyn Bodnar, Instruction Librarian, joined the Pennsylvania College of Technology in 1984. She coordinates the library's instruction program, serves as the liaison to the business and law departments of the School of Business and Computer Technologies, and has served on such governance committees as Academic Standards, Curriculum, and College Council, the Penn College Middle States Accreditation Institutional Overview subcommittee and the Information Literacy Subcommittee, a college wide initiative. Recent projects include being team leader for the Library Tutorial, served on the planning committee for the new Madigan Library to open August 2006, and spoke at an international library conference held in St. Petersburg, Russia, 2003. Marilyn holds two master’s degrees, an MBA (West Virginia University) and an MLS (Drexel University.) Her “stress buster” includes teaching one management class per semester for the School of Business and Computer Technologies.
