Biography

An educational background in UXD and graphic design, I’ve enjoyed an exciting 15-year career in academia. The last five years spent applying UDL and the QM Rubric to course design at The University of Texas at San Antonio as a full-time faculty member, course designer, and Adobe® Educator. Seeking to pivot from the faculty-side of academia to an institutiona-lwide service appointment in instructional design, project management, and education tech.

I want to continue advocating for and applying UDL and the QM Rubric to course design, and deliver unique learning and training experiences campus.

I have been designing innovative, engaging, inclusive, universal learning experiences for university students since 2020, after earning my QM Rubric certification during the pandemic. I passionately support new and current faculty in HED to embrace and adopt these critical instructional principles and technologies for 21st Century learners.

I am an advocate for learning diversity to ensure instructional design is accessible, equitable, and inclusive for all learners to discover and ideate.
