Biography

Mark is a staff engineer at Dropbox and a visiting lecturer at MIT. He was Chief Scientist at Riverbed Technology for nearly 10 years, including their 2006 IPO. He has 38 issued patents relating to presence, streaming media, content networking, mobile communications, security, and telephony. He is the author of Bits to Bitcoin: Keys to Our Digital World, to be published in 2018. He received his Ph.D. from MIT in 1995.
