Biography
Mark B. Garrison is a professor in the Department of Classical Studies at Trinity University, and received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. Dr. Garrison's primary field is the art and archaeology of ancient Western Asia. Since 1995 he has been the field director of the Bilkent University excavations at HacImusalar in Turkey. Dr. Garrison has recently received grants from the ACS Mellon Teaching with Technology Initiative to pursue the use of information technology in the teaching of archaeology. As part of this initiative, he is the director of the ACS Archaeology program.
