Biography
Mark Norton has been the Director of Specification Development since March of 2001 when he joined the IMS Global Learning Consortium. Prior to that, Mr. Norton was VP of Engineering at TechOnLine, where he designed and created custom internet learning architectures. Mr. Norton has over twenty years of software development and management experience. As a founding engineer at Avid Technology, Mr. Norton was awarded a Technical Achievement Award (Emmy) for his contributions to the development of Digital Nonlinear Editing. He has a MSCS from Boston University.
