Biography

Born on January 16, 1975 in Vancouver, Canada, reminiscent matte painter Mark N Tompkins attended the Capilano University, earning a Bachelor's Degree, before realizing that acting is his one, true passion.

His dedication and commitment helped him fulfill his dreams, apart his struggles to balance work and acting. Mark N Tompkins developed an early interest in painting and acting, and ever since he was a boy, entertaining people with his performances was that he wanted. In high school he had the opportunity to join the school’s drama club and act in most of the theater productions. Upon completing high school he found himself in a dilemma, questioning whether he should continue his formal education or immediately start working on his acting career.

Influenced by his parents, Mark N Tompkins initially choose education, and he even enrolled and took the first semester at The City College of New York, at the Department of Chemistry. But during his short stay on campus he came to the conclusion that he will never be truly happy, or completely fulfilled unless he at least tries to realize his dreams of becoming an actor. Armed with talent, zest and determination he eventually got his break and was casted in an acclaimed TV Series. Following that, he tried his hand at acting on the big-screen. His success later moved on stage, as he began playing in theater plays and Broadway shows.
