Biography
Marleen Mendoza is the Academic Technologies Project Manager at UCR School of Medicine. Marleen works within complex systems, serves as the administrator of ExamSoft, Canvas, and One45 software, and oversees the integration of assessment materials and curriculum mapping.
Before this role, Marleen was the Program Coordinator for the Office of Faculty Development. She worked closely with the Director of Faculty Development in the planning, developing, and evaluating faculty development programs. As a program coordinator, Marleen oversaw the logistics of program management, maintained a program schedule, coordinated all aspects of the programs, and worked with site directors, block directors, and site coordinators to ensure consistent faculty development across clinical sites. Marleen also administered the Continuing Medical Education (CME) resources and ensured the ongoing availability of CME for the School of Medicine.
Marleen came to UCR School of Medicine after a 6-year career at Western University of Health Sciences as a Lead Curriculum Coordinator for the Office of Academic Affairs in both the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific and the College of Podiatric Medicine. Marleen’s primary responsibility was to manage the Office of Academic Affairs workflow between two campuses and ensure that faculty, staff, and students were trained on newly acquired technologies used for Pre-Clinical Education, including transitioning both colleges from paper Anatomy Lab Practical exams to online exams.
