Marty Brennan

Biography

I see myself first and foremost as an educator, and I have always gravitated toward the classroom, real and virtual. I have 16 years of academic librarian experience centered on educational programs, assessment practices, online tutorial design, outreach programs, and public services. Medical libraries have been a particular focus, where I have designed and taught a variety of initiatives, from curriculum-based systematic instructional programs for undergraduates, to a 35-hour CE course for physicians and librarians on the Evidence-Based Medicine process. But most recently, my focus has turned to Copyright Literacy within scholarly communications.
