Biography

Mary has over 20 years of instructional design and faculty coaching expertise from various contexts including higher education, federal agencies and the private sector. Her design philosophy centers on a constructivist, learner-centered approach, leveraging technology where appropriate, while maintaining a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion in course design and delivery. 

In her role as Associate Director of Learning Experience at the Teaching and Learning Transformation Center at the Univeristy if Maryland, she manages instructional designers and educational developers to coach others and create engaging, rigorous, and scalable learning opportunities.
