Biography

I currently hold a hybrid academic role at University of Florida that involves leading enterprise level data management, reporting and analytics across the entire university (16 academic colleges, 170+ research centers/institutes, 55,000+ students, 100+ undergraduate majors, 200+ graduate programs, 5,000+ faculty members, 26,000+ employees, and 415,000+ alumni) as well as teaching undergraduate ISOM Data Analytics courses fall and spring semesters. My team and I are responsible for championing cross-departmental and cross-functional data governance, standards, reporting, analytics, data science, master data management (MDM), integrations, databases, data warehouse and ETL's.

At Creighton University, I have almost completed the Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) program in Business Intelligence Analytics. I have also received an MS in Business Intelligence Analytics (BIA), an MBA in Management and I.T., plus a Masters Certificate in Agile and Waterfall Project Management all at Creighton. Then at M.I.T. I have completed a Professional Certificate in Big Data (collection, processing, and storage), at Georgia Tech, their Business Analytics: Leveraging the Power of Data Executive Program and finally at Boise State their Professional Certificate in Descriptive Data Analytics with Excel PowerBI tools.

As a 15 year Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer and PCA stroke survivor, I also enjoy speaking/participating in research fundraising & patient support events.
