Biography

Throughout his career, Dr. Matthew Milliron has led technology programs, organizations, and teams in corporate, higher education, and non-profit association space. Milliron currently leads Strategic Consulting and Solutions Engineering Teams for predictive analytics and data acquisition engagements with colleges and universities across the country and internationally as VP of Strategic Services at Civitas Learning. Civitas Learning brings institution-specific predictive analytics to higher education to support persistence, completion and student success. 

Matthew most previously served as the Chief Information Officer for both EDUCAUSE and The League for Innovation in the Community College. In addition to his leadership roles, Matthew has also taught courses on eLearning design and presented on technology and higher education topics. 

Matthew holds a Doctorate in Higher Education, with an emphasis in Technology Leadership and Management from Arizona State University, a Masters of Arts in Educational Technology, with an emphasis in online learning applications from University of Phoenix, and a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and a Bachelors of Arts in Music from Northern Arizona University.
