Maura Smale


Maura Smale is Chief Librarian and Department Chair at the Ursula C. Schwerin Library at New York City College of Technology (City Tech). Her background includes degrees in anthropology and library and information science, and she is currently exploring how, where, and when undergraduates at CUNY do their academic work. Other research interests include games for teaching and learning, open access publishing, critical information literacy, and open instructional technologies.
