Biography

Maurice is a higher education technology executive with more than 25 years of experience leading enterprise technology organizations at community colleges and universities. As Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer, he provides strategic leadership for enterprise applications, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, digital transformation, and institutional technology planning.

Throughout his career, Maurice has led complex technology initiatives, including enterprise system implementations, organizational transformation, and strategic modernization efforts. His current work focuses on responsible AI adoption, technology governance, and guiding a major ERP migration while advancing institutional priorities.

Maurice was recognized by the Maryland Tech Council as a CIO of the Year for his transformational leadership and digital modernization initiatives. He has been an active participant in the EDUCAUSE community as both an attendee and presenter and values collaboration among higher education technology leaders. His leadership philosophy emphasizes servant leadership, partnership, and using technology to improve the experience of students, faculty, and staff.
