Maverick Mares
Biography
I am a versatile Higher Education IT professional currently operating in a unique, dual-capacity role that bridges the gap between backend system engineering and frontend user adoption. Serving as both an IT Trainer and a Workday Report Developer at Luna Community College, I manage a diverse portfolio that includes the end-to-end report development lifecycle, advanced cloud tenant configurations, and comprehensive campus-wide instructional support.
With a strong foundation in IT service management and technical oversight rooted in my previous experience at New Mexico Highlands University, I specialize in navigating complex database logic, calculated field architecture, and rigorous change control protocols. I am deeply passionate about digital transformation, technical problem-solving, and building institutional capacity. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, my ultimate goal is to translate elite, national-level IT best practices into seamless operational efficiencies and empowered campus communities.
