Max Tsai is a technologist, educator, and strategic leader with over 20 years of experience advancing digital transformation and future STEM workforce development in higher education. As Director of Planning and Digital Transformation at Fresno State, Max leads AI integration, institutional innovation, change management, and student-centered digital initiatives. He founded the DXIHub internship program to empower students to tackle real-world challenges through innovation and applied learning. Max has been recognized as a Distinguished Innovator by CSU-ITS and named an AWS Education Champion—honors that reflect his contributions to technology-enhanced learning and digital equity. He also enjoys teaching Software Engineering, where he mentors the next generation of technology leaders.
