Biography

Collaborating researcher and student of the Doctorate in Educational Innovation at the Tecnológico de Monterrey. Editor in the Journal of Educational Research of the Graduate School of Education of Tecnológico de Monterrey. She is part of the Research and Innovation in Education Group of the Tecnológico de Monterrey in the line of Development and Use of Technology in Education and researcher in e-learning unit at the Scientific and Technological Registry, CONICIT in Costa Rica. She has a Master's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance from the Latin American University of Science and Technology (ULACIT, Costa Rica) and a Master's Degree in Educational Technology with an emphasis in corporate training from Tecnológico de Monterrey with Honorable Mention of Excellence. She has a degree in Public Administration from the University of Costa Rica and a Bachelor's Degree in Teaching from the State University at Distance, Costa Rica. She has worked as a researcher in the State of Education Report in Costa Rica and is the founder of an e-learning training company. She is a virtual tutor certified by the OAS and in Business Development Services-SDE of the ILO. Performing a research stay at the Center for Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the University of Texas at Austin about the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Mexico. Her lines of research are educational innovation, training with digital media, continuing education, e-learning, m-learning, and entrepreneurship.
